Emerson, IA-February 16, 2021 Chat Mobility recently launched a voice and data enhancement service known as Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi). These services offer many benefits including enhanced voice quality and the ability to use data driven apps like Facebook or internet browsing while talking on the phone at the same time.
VoWi-Fi provides Chat Mobility customers the same benefits but utilizes a Wi-Fi network instead. By using a Wi-Fi network, customers will enhance their in-home or in-building coverage when VoLTE services are limited or unavailable.

VoLTE and VoWi-Fi services are offered at no additional charge. iPhone users with an iPhone 6s or newer device and with an iOS operating system of 14.4 or greater can utilize both services today. VoLTE is only available to Android capable and enabled devices at this time. However, Chat Mobility is working to provide VoWi-Fi to Android capable phones and will make an announcement when this service is available.
